App Development
App development with that certain something extra.
We love apps. When others throw up their hands in despair, we really get going.
Our developers have implemented numerous projects and simply can't get enough of app development.
That's why we joined forces and founded our agency.
Our developers are familiar with all major platforms, including iOS, Android and Windows. Our mobile software development specialists use the latest and most popular technologies, including cloud and APIs integration, location services, push notifications and database integration. This way we ensure that your app is state-of-the-art and will satisfy users in every situation.
If you have your own app idea and want to develop your own app, you probably have 1000 questions.
We would like to answer all of these questions for you. We have put the most common ones on this page.
If you want to get things done a little quicker, feel free to meet with us. Either virtually or in person.
Of course, there are price differences between different app technologies. For example, you could say that a native app costs the most, whereas web apps and PWAs cost far less.
Adjustments that influence the cost of an app
As already mentioned, the costs of developing an app vary greatly. However, there are a few adjustments you can make if your budget is tight.
Scope & time required
Of course, the scope of an app has a significant influence on the costs incurred during development.
This is because you pay the developer or agency a certain hourly rate. It is worth defining a so-called Minimum Viable Product (MVP) beforehand so that the first version of the app does not swallow up your entire budget. Such an MVP is, so to speak, a smaller, less complex version of your app that already has all the important functions.
The final scope of an app is, of course, a subjective assessment during development. So here are some key facts about the different sizes of apps.
The design
It's clear: the more complex an app is designed, the more expensive the design and therefore the development costs. The design of an app is crucial in terms of costs.
Of course, we prefer to develop apps with a very complex design. But if a design is sophisticated and is full of animations and has a lot of gimmicks, it will require more effort to implement this design.
The designer, as well as the developer, will charge more hours accordingly.
The programming language
There are a number of programming languages that can be used to develop an app. Depending on the language, different costs can be expected. You can also plan well in advance here.
If you want to develop an app that will later be supplemented by an online web app, you should build on languages where parts can later be used in other apps. We love Typescript, for example, because this language enables us to develop apps on pretty much every platform that exists. This means that it is always possible to provide other platforms with apps with little effort.
An iOS, Android or web app can use the same code in many parts. This of course makes the process extremely flexible. The programming languages Swift or Dart, for example, are not able to cover such a wide range.
What makes a web app so cheap
A web app is cheaper than a native app and there are good reasons for this. Firstly, there is the platform independence. The native app has to be developed separately for each operating system, whereas the web app is developed once and is available on all devices that can run a browser. There are quite a few.
In addition, the development of a web app is much more manageable because it is based on JavaScript and therefore requires a top programming language.

Examples of the different sizes
So that you can classify your idea correctly, we have listed a rough guideline for app development costs in the form of examples.
The small app
A small app would be, for example, the provision of information material for your sales department. You can get such apps for very little money. If the design is also easy to implement, you can get a real bargain here. Costs for such an app are between
5,000 € and 7,500 €.
The medium-sized app
Salespeople should also be able to register and log in. Each salesperson can be directly identified via an ID. The salesperson can access and manage customer data.
8,000 € - 15,000 €
The large app
Salespeople can now also communicate with each other and possibly even with customers directly in the app. Customers can also install the app and manage their data in the app. Customer data is made available to a salesperson depending on their location. The salesperson can record working hours and is, so to speak, completely remote with the app.
30,000 € - open end
As you can see, the range is very wide.
You've probably already heard about the many tech billionaires who are causing havoc on our blue planet.
We would say that everything is possible, nothing is necessary.
In the end, your attitude and the ambition with which you approach the matter always determine how much you can earn.
The great thing about the WWW is that you can reach thousands of people easily.
But you're certainly not here to hear from us what everyone else out there is telling you :D
So here are 3 pillars that will ensure that your app can scale.
Marketing, marketing, marketing
Many founders imagine that they will release their app and in the same moment they will have 1 million downloads.
Unfortunately, the world is not that rosy, but there are possibilities.
The right technology
Nothing is more annoying than releasing an app that is already outdated before it is released.
Therefore, the choice of technology is directly linked to your company's success.
The right partner
Especially if you want to drive towards success at 80 knots, you need the right partner at your side.
This is not meant to be an advertisement. We know some companies that can be super good partners
A little tip here: Ordering an app for €5000 from Fiverr will not lead to great success in most cases
Here are a few guidelines for quick success
Your contact person should definitely speak a language that you also speak
This point is not as far-fetched as it sounds. Unless you are an ace in English, you are not doing yourself any favors by using an English-speaking agency. We have experienced everything here. The problem is not even the communication itself, but the interpretation on the other side. How often in meetings we thought we had communicated perfectly and then received something completely different.

Lean development
You don't always have to bring all the features to market straight away.
You can often start with a small budget and then scale up in different versions of your app.
To do this, you build a so-called MVP. Your target group can already use this MVP while you develop the next feature.
When marketing your app, it all depends on your target group.
If your app is aimed at young people, for example, it will make little sense to market it on LinkedIn.
So choose the right marketing channels right from the start.
After that, it's basically very simple - we've heard the same thing over and over again from our partner marketing agencies on this topic. BE AUTHENTIC and convey added value.
You can easily start with one post a week. One idea would be to address a use case of your app in this post and describe how your app can solve an important problem for your target group.
Another suggestion would be to explain your company's internals. Show people out there how cool you are and how you work. That builds trust.
