What is a Progressive Web App (PWA)?

You probably already know what a web app is.

Since 2015 there has been a new standard, developed primarily by Google, that connects the web app with the native app.

This enables massive improvements in the area of web apps.

Progressive web apps can now be installed on the end device directly from the browser without visiting the app store.

Web apps can also now address and evaluate the sensors of the end devices. This means that web apps can now be used in areas that could previously only be covered by native apps.

A progressive web app can also work offline.
